Technique: Original Hand Signed and Inscribed Etching on Chine Appliqué on Wove Paper

Additional Information: This original etching is hand signed in pencil by the artist “Henri Matisse” in the lower right margin.
It is also hand inscribed ‘essai’ [proof], in the lower right margin.
This impression is one of only two annotated ‘essai’, aside from the standard edition of 15.
