Gathering and processing current Fine Art auction catalogues.
More than 450,000 auctioned artworks (including bought in lots) are recorded each year, covering 2,900 auction houses worldwide.
The reference library includes 270,000 old catalogues of auctions held from 1700 onwards.

2/ Historical data banks department

A comprehensive biographical data bank of artists, ranging from Old Masters to modern and contemporary artists (150,000 artists and 900,000 by the end of 2002), and data bank of signatures and monograms.

4/ Department of art econometrics
The art market indices are econometric tools providing practical information to the primary news agencies, the economic press, the banking/insurance sectors, and art investors.
Every day art market figures and econometrics produced by this department are released in the economic, financial and art press worldwide.

5/ R&D department
Development of dedicated softwares for the auction industry (created by Xylogic Switzerland, now artprice.com Suisse). The focus is upon migration towards ASP/world intranet in order to provide high standards which will contribute to an improved information on the art market.

6/ The Wineprice department
Artprice.com owns and runs the most comprehensive data bank of international auctions for wines and spirits. Over 500 auctions world wide are compiled each year. You can make very accurate searches.
Some figures: 300,000 detailed auction results, 22,000 listed wines, 5,000 wine producers, 120,000 benchmarks and 65,000 vintage wines.

7/ Publishing department of books on the art market
Books covering legal and regulatory issues, economy and sociology of the art market.
For example le Code des ventes volontaires et judiciaires is a reference book on the French reform of public auctions.

8/ Department of rare books auctions databank
Since the acquisition of l'Argus du Livre de Collection, this department records auctions of rare books held worldwide.
